The Perfect Pocket Monster Legends: Z-A Mega Evolution According to the Zodiac Sign

This comeback of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense excitement within the community. From the one-by-one reveal of fresh additions before the game's release, to players developing firm opinions on the entire lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for enthusiasts to look forward to.

With many of the Mega Evolutions boasting unique designs that emphasize their traits, one thought came to mind: How can connect this with astrology? This list is based on a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

Honestly, Houndoom was almost selected for this fire sign, as they are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that evoke the most fear. But, a Super Houndoom appears as always angry, which isn't typical of the Aries vibe, renowned for being fun, cheerful, and spontaneous. That's why the Ram far more akin to Super Camerupt, which only spews lava when angered. Stay on the good side of both and enjoy a powerful partner; if you cross them, prepare to face the consequences.

Taurus – Mega Heracross

Similar to a devoted Bull, the reliable Heracross, both in its regular and Super Form, has assisted many trainers in Legends: Z-A. While dependable, both the Pokémon and a Taurus are still battle-oriented, and – be it their trainer or a firm belief – will stand up for their position to the end. The thing about Mega Heracross that recalls most of my Taurus friends, however, is its unashamed passion for treats. Many past Pokédex entries mention their craving for sweet sap and how it employs its appendage to collect it all, which is true Taurus energy.

Gemini – Super Medicham

Look at this absolute royalty. It's impossible to convince me this Pokémon is not the life of every party, offering an endless stream of chatter to anyone who wish to hear. Just like an enrapturing, gregarious Twins, it's very simple to imagine Super Medicham captivating an entire Wild Zone with their tales. Medicham’s Pokédex entry also states its ability to foresee an enemy’s next moves, which sounds very like a socially-savvy Twins.

Cancer – Super Manectric

The Crab is widely regarded as the most sensitive sign of the astrological wheel, a passionate sign famous for often getting wrapped up in their feelings. According to the official info, Super Evolution charges the Pokémon with a “tremendous quantity of electricity, but it's too much for Manectric to completely manage,” which sounds a lot like a classic Cancer crash-out. This Pokémon is also recognized for its capability to make a thundercloud over its own head – and if there’s one thing a Cancer is going to do, it’s rain on their own parade.

The Lion – Mega Starmie

Oh, did you assume I was going to pick Pyroar for the lion of the stars? Besides the reality that it would be far too obvious, The Lion is obviously Super Starmie, the diva whose legs just went viral for being too fabulous (or horrifying, depending on your preference). Fans were captivated from the purple starfish, and that’s exactly the same vibe a Lion brings to the scene. This Pokémon is also rumored to be transmitting radio waves from its red core out into the cosmos, and it’s typical of a Lion to be putting on a show, even if for aliens.

Virgo – Super Victreebel

The always-ready and perpetually-anxious Maiden is ideally encapsulated in Super Victreebel, the Mega with perpetual digestive issues. The sign known for being charmingly judgmental is clearly mirrored across this Pokémon’s entire evolutionary chain, from a always shocked expression like a Virgo when you inform them you lack a 401(k), to its inverted face that’s just like the emoji a Virgo sends to the chatroom when all says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of making a strategy.

The Scales – Super Audino

Observe this sweet, empathetic creature, who uses the sensors on its auditory organs to detect how others are feeling by their pulse. Consistently compassionate – occasionally to a detriment – and striving to maintain the peace, there are numerous Libras who would likely appreciate Mega Audino’s abilities. Though, let’s be honest, it would probably just cause them to worry even more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Mega Banette

Banette is a Pokémon with a surprisingly sad origin: Abandoned as a doll, it gained sentient through sheer hatred and swore revenge on its previous caretaker. Per the official info, Mega Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That sounds exactly like many discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpio friends. A Scorpio loves karma and retribution, making them the perfect match with Mega Banette.

Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha

Each Super Hawlucha and Archers are always putting on a show. Being a Archer personally, the amount of times I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “silly little entertainer” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its description even notes how it “poses to show off its power.” I would do the very same thing if I had some kind of Super Form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius match I can think of.

Capricorn – Super Absol

Did you know that a Mega Absol has the power to foresee calamities in advance? That exudes the identical energy as a Capricorn, who tends to consistently think they’re correct. Interestingly, similar to a prophetic Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the very initial Super Form that players meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Goat to join the ground floor of the Super Form craze.

Aquarius – Super Chandelure

Aloof element Water Bearer is arguably the non-fire sign that is closest to a fire sign – its sister sign is Leo, and there are numerous jokes about the Archer and Water Bearer being chaotic partners in crime. Mega Chandelure’s double Ghost/Fire category matches seamlessly with this, and the Super Form's overall daunting aura is also extremely Aquarius. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Super Form's Pokédex entry says it “absorbs hatred and transforms it into strength.” If that doesn’t exactly {encaps
