The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex twice unified boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making massive paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually happening.
