Defiant Wilfried Nancy insists he is not worried about the sack but the Parkhead faithful show anger after defeat.

The Celtic boss declared he was not afraid of losing his job, claiming, “We are very near to changing our fortunes,” despite moving dangerously close to the chopping block with a comprehensive setback against Rangers.

The coach continues to cling to the fact his team can perform strongly for a half at a time. “The standard we had at certain moments was exceptionally high. This is the reality. I could not speak so positively if it was not the case. “We produced a lot of encouraging signs that we did, once more. However is sustaining it. My outlook would not be the same. This is why I am convinced the team can to fix this.”

Röhl’s Cautious Stance

Danny Röhl was cautious about a championship push despite what seemed like a landmark win. “One match at a time, so we can really build up something here,” he said. “The faith in the group is outstanding.”
